Lead Kennel Technician
Team member since 2017
Approximately 1 year after starting at our clinics, Kacie took the role as Lead Kennel Technician. She graduated from the Veterinary Technology program with honors and an Associate’s Degree from Northshore Technical Community College in 2020. She then passed her my state boards and became a Registered Veterinary Technician on August 6, 2021.
Kacie tends to divide her work days between overseeing the workflow in the kennels and assisting in treatments, exam rooms, surgery, or wherever there is a need. She is particularly interested in emergency medicine and looks forward to further developing her skills in that area.
She has always believed her love for animals was a precious gift given to her by God. She says, “as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be around animals and couldn’t wait to grow up and pursue a career in veterinary medicine.”
She has been married over 15 years as of 2022 and has 2 beautiful daughters. She is very active in the student ministry at Seeker’s Point Church in Hammond. She has 2 dogs, 4 cats, a rabbit, and a Guinea Pig and almost all of her pets are named after food (how cute!).
