We invite you to visit us at either of our two locations in Hammond and Ponchatoula, Louisiana. We have been a part of the Northshore Community for over 40 years and are eager to continue serving our community for many more. Our passion can be found in our team of dedicated staff and our facility. We are excited for the opportunity to earn your confidence!

I use both Animal Care Center & Pet Care Center for my 3 pets. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. I am always confident in the care and I am provided. Every staff member gives me the feeling that myself and my pets are family. The doctors are extremely relatable and professional. I can’t express how much they have done for my fur babies. My dog, Letti, had to have emergency surgery after eating a volleyball, and I was extremely worried. The staff reassured me that she would be okay and they would take great care of her. She had to stay several days and made a full recovery. We still have to keep an eye on her but I know if we came to a similar complication, I would bring her right back to ACC/PCC and their very competent veterinarians and staff.

Phenomenal service from front desk staff, vet techs, and Dr. Laverne! Brought one of my boys in as an emergency because we thought he was bit by a snake. Was informed the doctors were in a meeting as they had just opened; and they’d assess him ASAP and they did! Dr. Laverne called me every step of the way and kept me informed the whole time. The techs were amazing and SO patient with my boy when we were leaving. They knew he was in so much pain, and they both said we will wait with him as long as it takes; and they sat in the hot sun in the parking lot until he was ready to get in my car. Every one of you ladies are rockstars, and I thank you ALL for taking amazing care of my Chevy boy! Chev thanks you guys too!
