FAQs
Emergencies can be terrifying situations. A few typical emergency situations include shortness of breath, open wounds, or uncontrollable bleeding. If you are uncertain if your pet is having an emergency or not, please give us a call! We will do our best to advise you and are always happy to help!
Short answer, no. We can do our best to advise you whether your pet may be in an emergency situation or not. We will most likely let you know if a Doctor suggests getting your pet seen to address the concerns, but we can not give treatment or medical advice over the phone.
We have a team of 9 veterinarians with a combined experience of over 100 years. Our excellence and passion can be seen throughout practice as well as our dedication to providing quality veterinary care through our state of the art treatments and technologies.
While we prefer setting an appointment, we can usually fit you in on the same day. If it is an emergency, we will see you right away.
All payment is required at the time of service. We do accept CareCredit and Scratchpay as alternative methods of payment.
We recommended spaying or neutering your pet at around 6 months of age. Vaccines are required at the time of surgery as well as pre-anesthetic blood work for any pets over the age of 7. This is done to make sure they are healthy enough to undergo not only the surgery, but anesthesia as well.
Blood Work will give us a good idea if your pet is healthy enough to undergo surgery. It will tell us how their organs are functioning, their blood counts, and clotting functions as well. Pre-anesthetic blood work is done as a safety precaution prior to surgery.
Most surgeries will require the sutures to stay in for 10-14 days unless otherwise instructed by the attending veterinarian.
Yes! We board both cats and dogs and even the occasional rabbit.
All of our kennels are indoors. All pets are allowed to exercise, outside, up to 3 times a day. For cats, we have a separate area away from the dogs. Blankets and food are provided for all borders. Let us know if your pet is on a special diet or anything like that. We offer tours of our kennels as well. Please give us a call if you’d like a tour and we’d be happy to set something up!
