Dr. Kirsten Ganucheau is a long-time resident of the Northshore, growing up in Mandeville and attending St. Scholastica Academy in Covington. She received a Presidential Scholarship to attend The University of Southern Mississippi and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Marine Biology and a Minor in Psychology. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University in May of 2017. She also received a certificate in business from the Veterinary Business Management Association and attended the Chi Institute to become certified in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Acupuncture.

Dr. Ganucheau has a special interest in Exotic Animal Medicine and sees many types of reptiles, birds, and small mammals. She is also passionate about soft tissue surgery, integrative medicine, and client education. She enjoys forming a long-lasting bond and trust with her patients and their owners and working together to develop a plan for those patients’ health and wellness.

Dr. Ganucheau, her husband, and their son reside in Bedico with their three dogs, cat and rabbit. During her free time, she enjoys spending time on the river and outdoors, spending time with her husband and son, traveling and reading.

She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Veterinary Acupuncture, Florida Parishes Veterinary Medical Association, Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association and has her USDA Accreditation.
