Dr. Kirsten Ganucheau
Dr. Kirsten Ganucheau is a long time resident of the Northshore, growing up in Mandeville and attending St. Scholastica Academy in Covington. She received a Presidential Scholarship to attend The University of Southern Mississippi and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Marine Biology and a Minor in Psychology. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University in May of 2017 with a certificate in business from the Veterinary Business Management Association.
While in veterinary school she attended the Chi Institute to become certified in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Acupuncture. She enjoys using Western medicine and TCVM to develop an integrative plan for her patient’s health and wellness. She has a special interest in exotic animal medicine, rehabilitation and integrative medicine, surgery and client education.
Dr. Ganucheau and her husband recently moved to Bedico, where they have a small zoo of pets including three dogs, a cat, a rabbit, a flying squirrel, and 9 fish! During her free time, she enjoys spending time on the river and outdoors, spending time with her husband, family and friends, traveling, reading books, and playing with her dogs. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Veterinary Acupuncture, and Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Ganucheau is thrilled to be starting her career with Animal Care Center and Pet Care Center.
